Tightening regulations, efforts to prevent diversion, and limited production due to cut quotas have all driven the persisting shortage. Beyond this, the lack of clear communication from pharmaceutical companies and the DEA, along with the absence of federal action to increase production, has compounded the issue, leaving patients and healthcare providers grappling with the consequences of limited access to essential pain medications, and in many cases running out of opioid painkillers." -We apologize for this situation which is beyond our control and has left many patients in a worse condition.
